Search

Selecting the Search link from a mobile device using Numara FootPrints Mobile displays the search page. Users can search Issues or solutions. The Workspace Home, Search, Change Workspace, Create Issue, Select Contact, and Logout links are all displayed at the bottom fo the page.

To use the Mobile Search facility:

  1. Search on Keyword or Title by choosing the corresponding radio button, or enter a number without selecting a radio button to search by issue number.  To search for multiple Issue numbers, enter each number separated by a comma, i.e., 5,22,165 .
  2. For Keyword or Title, enter the word or phrase that you want to search for in the box.
  3. To limit the search to just solutions, click the Solutions checkbox.
  4. When you have entered your search criteria, click the Search button.

If only a single Issue matches your search criteria, the details page for that Issue is displayed. If more than one issue matches your search criteria (for example, you searched on the keywords "Network Problem"), a list of all Issues that match your search criteria are displayed in the main frame.
